REDI II – UJIMA NATURALS LIMITED – STORAGE FACILITY & EQUIPPING

The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the Second Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDI II) Project.  The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover payments under the following contract:

REDI II – UJIMA NATURALS LIMITED – STORAGE FACILITY & EQUIPPING – Bid #: 25302

Scope:                                                  The sub-project comprises civil works for the rehabilitation and expansion of a post-harvest processing facility and associated storage infrastructure located in St. Thomas, across three (3) designated farm sites. The scope of works includes the construction of a reinforced concrete floor slab to accommodate a prefabricated structure, as well as the expansion of the existing building to incorporate sanitary facilities and changing rooms. The works also provides for the installation of foul water and surface water drainage systems to support the upgraded facilities. Additionally, the project includes the supply and installation of a refrigerated container to provide cold storage capacity, the construction of dedicated solar equipment rooms, and the supply and installation of a photovoltaic (PV) systems to support the operational energy requirements.

Eligibility:                                            Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or Tax Compliance Letter (TCL).

Submission Date & Time:                    Bids must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm on or before April 16, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Late Bids will be automatically rejected by the system.
