Yahso Jungle Adventure Limited Infrastructure (#73803) - Westmoreland and Old Fort Craft Market Rehabilitation (#73796) – St. James

The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the SECOND rural economic development initiative (REDI II) project.  The Government of Jamaica intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover payments under the contract Yahso Jungle Adventure Limited Infrastructure (#73803) – Westmoreland and Old Fort Craft Market Rehabilitation (#73796) – St. James.

Scope:                                                 The Contractor will execute the following works

• Construction of a 1000 sq.ft. building to include and administrative office, five (5) changing rooms and a restroom (Female: 4 stalls, Male: 3 stalls and 1 urinal. Each restroom to accommodate persons with disabilities);
• Construction of a pea gravel driveway and visitor parking area;
• Provision and retrofitting of a 20 ft. container kitchenette; and
• Rehabilitation of vehicular access gate and provision of a tertiary-level wastewater treatment facility.

Works Period: Six (6) months

Scope:                                                 The Contractor will execute the following works

• Construction of an administrative office
• Rehabilitation of a gazebo, 156 craft shops, restroom, existing display/storage areas, walkways and entrances, wishing well and the remounting of a cannon. Additionally, the provision of termite treatment, electrical re-wiring, landscaping, garbage skip and surveillance cameras.

Works Period: Four (4) months
