The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the SECOND rural economic development intitiative (REDI II) project.  The Government of Jamaica intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover payments under the contract for Agro Investment Corporation Irrigation Transmission Force Main and Equipping at the Plantain Garden River (PGR)- , St. Thomas.

Scope:                                                 Installation of approximately 5.8km of PVC pressurized pipe line with the associated valves and fittings, along with rehabilitation and retrofitting of a 40ft container to serve as control centre, restroom and storage facilities completed with the installation of a 2500 GPM water pump and switch gear along with the construction of 3KM of high voltage (HV) pole line.
