The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the SECOND rural economic development intitiative (REDI II) project. The Government of Jamaica intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover payments under the contract following contracts:
- Blackstonedge Benevolent Society Construction of Greenhouses- St. Ann; Ewarton JBI Community Council Benevolent Society Greenhouses- St. Catherine; South Plateau Community Council Benevolent Society JBI Greenhouse Cluster Project- Manchester
Scope of Works: Lot 1: Bid #: 22241 - Blackstonedge Benevolent Society Construction of Greenhouses - Procurement include but is not limited to the establishment of a greenhouse cluster in Castle Kelly, Saint Ann. It will include the construction of greenhouses along with associated external works for irrigation and a catchment pond for water storage and use.
Works Period: Six (6) months
Lot 2: Bid #: 22216 - Ewarton JBI Community Council Benevolent Society Greenhouses- St. Catherine - Procurement include but is not limited to the establishment of a greenhouse cluster in Ewarton, Saint Catherine. It will include the construction of greenhouses, a packing shed, fertilizer and pesticide storage, a changing/restroom facility, and associated irrigation and external piping works.
Works Period: Six (6) months
Lot 3: Bid #: 22217 - South Plateau Community Council Benevolent Society JBI Greenhouse Cluster Project- Manchester - Procurement include but is not limited to the establishment of a greenhouse cluster in Lancaster, Manchester. It will include the construction of greenhouses, a packing shed, fertilizer and pesticide storage, a changing/restroom facility, and associated irrigation and external piping works.
Works Period: Six (6) months
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ABOVE PROJECTS ARE IN LOTS. A QUALIFIED CONTRACTOR CAN BID ON ONE OR ALL LOTS.
NO CONTRACTOR WILL BE AWARDED MORE THAN TWO (2) LOTS.
