National Housing Development Corporation

The National Housing Development Corporation Limited (NHDC) was established in 1998 as a result of a merger between three entities; namely Caribbean Housing Finance Corporation Limited, National Housing Corporation Limited and Operation PRIDE.

Their core services include Mortgage Servicing and providing shelter solutions on the open market and under the Operation PRIDE programme; via financing, planning and designs and conveyancing. The company’s mandate includes both economic and social objectives, which address the need to be a financially profitable and economically viable organization while providing housing for the commercial open market as well as low cost housing solutions.

In 2006 an MOU was signed between NHDC and the Fund under the ICBSP. Under this agreement the NHDC will work with the Project to provide land titles for target residents of Inner City Basic Services Project (ICBSP) communities on public land.
