Honour Awards - Lauding those who have contributed

The Gleaner Company presented 13 awards at its annual Honour Awards ceremony held at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel. The award recognises the initiatives, accomplishments and courage of individuals or organisations that have contributed significantly to improving Jamaica.

Taking home the 'Honouree of the Year' award was the GraceKennedy Group. Twelve other individuals and groups were awarded in categories including Sports, Science and Technology, Entertainment, Health and Wellness, Public Service, and Education. Among those were three special awards in the categories of Business, Sports, and Education, in addition to a Lifetime Achievement award presented to Marcia Griffiths.
