CHASE Fund

The Culture, Health, Arts, Sports and Education (CHASE) Fund includes the support early childhood education as part of its mandate. It has demonstrated this commitment to improving the level of education offered to the country’s early childhood sector by building and renovating several institutions. Since its inception in 2003, the CHASE Fund has approved 329 early childhood education projects to the tune of $752 million.

In 2006, JSIF and CHASE began discussion on the forging of a possible partnership to further enhance both institutions’ interventions in early childhood education. Under the agreement reached to improve the physical infrastructure of early childhood institutions, CHASE will provide funding and JSIF will provide technical expertise including procurement, implementation, monitoring and supervision.
