The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the SECOND RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (REDI II) PROJECT. The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover payments under the following contract, CONSULTANCY FOR COMMUNITY-BASED TOURISM (CBT) MARKETING STRATEGY THROUGH THE MARKETING DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROJECT ON BEHALF OF THE JAMAICA TOURIST BOARD (JTB).


Scope: The Consultant will be responsible for designing a marketing plan/strategy and implementing selected activities from that marketing plan targeting Jamaica’s key source markets (USA, UK, Canada, etc.). Such activities could include:
- Creative design, capture and production of high-resolution video and still imagery;
- Media buying and placement of paid and non-paid advertisements; and
- Public relations and promotional activities.
