INVITATION TO BID - Anchovy Integrated Infrastructure Project (IIP), St. James.

The Government of Jamaica established the Jamaica Social Investment Fund Project (JSIF) to assist in its poverty eradication programme.  The Government now intends to apply part of the funds it has provided the JSIF, to cover payment under the contract for Anchovy Integrated Infrastructure Project (IIP), St. James. The Jamaica Social Investment Fund invites eligible Bidders to submit Bids for Anchovy Integrated Infrastructure Project (IIP), St. James. Scope:                                               The scope of works involves Installation of approximately 9.8km of 200mm diameter D.I. pumpingtransmission main from Shettlewood Springs to Montpelier, and from Montpelier to Mount Carey re-lifts station. The installation of 2.0Km of 150mm diameter D.I pumping transmission main from MountCarey re-lift station to the existing Nelson storage tank (100,000 gallons) in Comfort Hall. The NelsonTank is to be refurbished as it is the main storage facility. The access road to the Nelson tank will alsobe rehabilitated. The scope also includes full reinstatement of the roadway associated with thesetransmission mains. The scope also includes the supply and installation of 2 pumps at ShettlewoodSprings, and also 2 pumps at the Mount Carey Lift Station. The electrical works associated with theinstallation of these pumps is also included.
