Our Mission

The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) will mobilize resources and channel these to community-based socio-economic infrastructure and social services projects. Through a partnership between central and local government, communities, private and public organizations, JSIF seeks to address the immediate social and economic infrastructure needs of underserved communities in a manner that is quick, efficient, transparent and non-partisan.

In fulfilling its mandate, the JSIF will facilitate the empowerment of communities and assist in building national capacity to effectively implement community-based programmes aimed at social development.
