JSIF launches 3-month ZikV eradication programme

The Jamaica Social Investment Fund ( JSIF) is to roll out a three-month Zik-V programme across the island at a cost of approximately J$45 million.
JSIF says 30 communities across Kingston and St Andrew, St Catherine, Clarendon, St Ann, St James and Westmoreland will be targeted.
It says the programme will run from November 7 to January 20, 2017 and says 365 residents have been trained, certified and temporary employed as community Vector Control Aide/Zika Warriors.
