50 entrepreneurs to benefit from JSIF grant valued $100 million

Scores of shortlisted micro and small business applicants turned out recently to make their business pitch at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel at a forum hosted by the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF), Integrated Community Development Project under its initiative entitled “ICDP Enterprise Development Project”.
At the end of the selection process, 50 successful entrepreneurs across the various ICDP communities, in the parishes of St James, Clarendon, Kingston, St Andrew, St Catherine, St Ann and Westmoreland will benefit from non-cash grant support ranging from $1.5 million to $5 million which will enable them to access meaningful support for their businesses such as: machinery, permits and licenses as well as comprehensive training in the area of business development.
