The Government of Jamaica
The Government of Jamaica established the JSIF in 1996 as part of the National Poverty Eradication Programme (NPEP). The JSIF was formed as the government's principal vehicle for channeling resources to small-scale community based projects.
The Government of Jamaica negotiates loan and grant agreements administered by the JSIF and provides counterpart funding for these agreements.
